$25 Million Equity Goal Achieved!
NPP Groundbreaking Ceremony set for March 26th

(Evansville, WI - March 21, 2007) North Prairie Productions, LLC, (NPP) has announced a March 26th groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the upcoming construction of their 45 million gallon per year capacity biodiesel plant in Evansville, WI.

Festivities are scheduled to start at 9:30 am with Governor Jim Doyle on hand for the ceremonial groundbreaking at 10:00.

The announcement follows NPP’s achievement in attaining over $25 million in equity investment from over 800 investors drawn from throughout Wisconsin. The $25 million investment threshold was established in its Offering as the minimum at which the company would break escrow and begin construction. Letters have been sent to subscribers, and the company expects to officially close on the $25+ million in subscriptions received on or about April 6th.

According to NPP Vice President Jeff Pieterick, “We now have sufficient equity in place to allow us to finalize contracts and move forward with our plans to commence construction this Spring. Everything appears to be progressing along the aggressive timeline we established at the start of this project, and we are pleased for the support of our Wisconsin investors that has made it all possible.”
