Sought by New Wisconsin Biodiesel Start-up
North Prairie Productions, LLC, is seeking Wisconsin investors
to participate in their commercial biodiesel project.
The company is building a plant in the Evansville, Wis.,
area that will annually produce up to 45 million gallons
of biodegradable, biodiesel fuel employing well-established
technologies that meet strict industry standards. The
company expects to have the plant operational in 2007.
Biodiesel is a renewable fuel made from animal fats and
vegetable oils, such as soybeans. The North Prairie Productions
plant will rely primarily on soybean oil as a feed stock
to manufacture high quality, fuel-grade biodiesel.
“Biodiesel is widely recognized as a superior fuel
that also can help us reduce this country’s
dependence on foreign oil,” says Mike Robinson,
president of North Prairie Productions, LLC.
“We are actively looking for investors who recognize
the value of renewable fuels and what they have done for
Wisconsin’s agricultural industry.”
An equity kickoff meeting is set for Tuesday, Sept. 12,
starting at 11:00 a.m., at the Evansville High School
Auditorium. The first meeting for potential investors
takes place the same day at 1:30 p.m. at the Evansville
High School, where attendees will be encouraged to pick
up a copy of the Company’s Offering Memorandum for
their review of the investment opportunity. Additional
investor meetings will follow across the state.
This Offering will be available to Wisconsin residents
only. A complete list of meetings and
