We’re
over halfway there!
Within
the first ten weeks of the North Prairie Productions Equity
Drive, we have received nearly 400 subscriptions, leading
us past the halfway point in our effort to raise $25 million
in investment equity. Approximately 80% of our subscriptions
thus far have come from Wisconsin’s Ag producers
and their related agribusiness community. To those of
you who have filed a subscription to join as partners
in this venture, I take this opportunity to say thank
you! With your help, we’re well on the way to making
this project happen in Evansville.
Most
of the subscriptions we received were filed in late September
and early October, only tapering off as our primary audience
became increasingly engaged with the harvest season. With
the farmers in the fields, we scaled back the “road
show” effort and focused on making presentation
of this investment opportunity to other individuals and
business interests throughout Wisconsin. We’ve shared
our project with numerous accounting firms and other business
advisor groups, encouraging them to spread the word about
North Prairie Productions to their clients and colleagues.
We’re now beginning to hear from these new prospects
as they call to request information about our project.
Additionally, we’ve also been working on finishing
the permitting, preliminary engineering, and other required
pre-construction activities in anticipation of groundbreaking
once the Equity Drive is completed.
With
a successful harvest wrapping up, Wisconsin Ag producers
are now ready to look to the future. Those who had put
the project on hold are now excited to discuss this investment
opportunity. We’ve also been in contact with many
who have only recently become aware of this Offering.
For North Prairie Productions, the timing couldn’t
be better to launch another full schedule of Equity Drive
Meetings throughout southern Wisconsin to share with others
our excitement about the opportunity this project presents
for Wisconsin investors and for the future of Wisconsin’s
bioindustry.
We
have scheduled numerous meetings between now and Christmas,
the locations and times of which can be found on our website.
We encourage you to look over the schedule and take the
opportunity to attend one of these informational meetings
so that you may learn about the North Prairie Productions
biodiesel project and meet members of the team who are
leading the effort. Feel free to bring a friend, family
member, or colleague along—we hope to meet a wide
range of people over the coming weeks, and to fully introduce
them to the biodiesel project we have planned for Evansville.
We’re over halfway to our goal, and we look forward
to seeing you and sharing with you the excitement as this
Equity Drive moves toward completion.
This
truly is a home-grown opportunity for Wisconsin investors
to participate in in an exciting and well-established
biofuels project. With our plant in Evansville, we’re
on track to be the largest entrant to date in Wisconsin’s
emerging biodiesel industry, and you can be a part of
making it all happen.
Please do not hesitate to call me or any member of the
Board or staff with any questions you might have or to
request an Offering Memorandum to be sent to you in advance
of attending a meeting. I hope you all have a great Holiday
Season with your friends and families. Meanwhile, I greatly
appreciate your continued support as we successfully move
to complete this stage of the project and ultimately,
help advance the growth of the biofuels industry right
here in Wisconsin.
With
Warmest Regards,
Jeff Pieterick
