North Prairie Productions, LLC, (NPP) has announced a March 26th groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the upcoming construction of their 45 million gallon per year capacity biodiesel plant in Evansville, WI. Festivities are scheduled to start at 9:30 am with Governor Jim Doyle on hand for the ceremonial groundbreaking at 10:00.

Over $24 million committed toward goal of $25 million
That’s the word from North Prairie Productions, LLC. The announcement appeared in a letter recently sent to over 650 subscribers from Wisconsin who have already committed to the 45 million gallon per year biodiesel project in Evansville.

The good news keeps coming. A day after confirmation that Evansville will be getting a biodiesel plant, the city learned there's a good chance the state's first soybean crushing facility will be built next door on the city's east side.
